President Donald J. Trump recently approved the permit for the Dakota Access Pipeline. This pipeline will stretch from the Bakken and Three Forks shale formations in North Dakota to Patoka, Illinois. It will span 1,172 miles from start to finish. With the approval of the Keystone XL Pipeline, President Donald J. Trump has also approved a measure that will create jobs in the construction industry. Construction of the pipeline will take anywhere from one to two years, and generate more than 3,900 jobs, according to Labor Department estimates.
